ABOUT

Mandana’s love of design began as a young girl back in the 70’s at her dad’s brick and mortar Persian rug shop on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.

After receiving a BFA at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, she moved back to her native city Los Angeles to further her career in Film production. Mandana got her start in working in the Art and Wardrobe department on a number of independent films, music videos and commercials. She lived abroad for over a year in Brazil in 2000, where she began importing Havaiana flip flops, before the rave hit the rest of the world. In 2015, she formed her own business; sourcing and creating a line of vintage and modern hand-crafted throw and floor cushions. Her personal style is a blend of ethnic and contemporary aesthetics. With a passion for color, pattern and architecture, she draws her inspiration from her Iranian background and her love for traveling abroad. Her approach to design is carefully curated in her signature bohemian and cutting edge style. She is making the leap to designing residential and commercial spaces.

She lives in Santa Monica, California with her son.
